Jenny from Pleasant Ridge

My husband and I shopped around for daycare centers and, even though it isn’t close to where we work or even in our own neighborhood, we knew that Blue Ash Educational Building was “the one” as soon as we took our tour and met Mary Lynne and (holy cow!) saw the vast expanse of outdoor play area.

Sophia started at BAEB around her 1st birthday and after just a few weeks the facility became a second home for her.   Even though she is in first grade now at our neighborhood Montessori, when she visits in the summer and on days when school is out and she’s always very excited to go back.  We were introduced to the infant room when our second child was born.  I was very nervous to turn 12 week old Molly over, but Ms. Marilyn and the other fantastic women in that room made me feel incredibly comfortable and when I found out that her big sister was brought in regularly to visit her I was touched and impressed by such a consideration.

It has been almost 6 years since our first day at BAEB and I believe that we are just as happy, if not happier with the facility than we were that first year.  From the moment Ms. Katie gets them out of the car in the morning we know they are in good hands and that they are learning so much, not just from schoolwork, but from interactions with their teachers and their environment and their fellow Good Buddies.  The girls have always stepped into the car excited to tell us about what they’ve done each day and it’s that love of learning that is going to take them a long way in this world.

We only have six more months of daily visits down your tree lined drive and it is something we are going to miss dearly. Thank you to everyone at Blue Ash Educational Building for your loving assistance in the upbringing of our children.
