Preschool, Daycare, Infant Care,
Early Childhood Education, and
  Kindergarten... Since 1965

This may be the most long winded note you ever get but I just can't narrow
down everything that I want to say.  I LOVE the people at Blue Ash
Educational Building.  The teachers and staff are the school and you are
the ones that make it such a wonderful place.   I will have a very hard
time when we start first grade!

Before ever visiting when I was pregnant with Derek (over 3 1/2 years ago),
I had several recommendations for your school.  I also heard that your
hiring standards were tough.  To hear from someone that interviewed and did
not get hired that the program is amazing is . . . . well amazing.  Mary
Lynne, when I met you for the first time on a visit I felt like family
instantly.  That feeling has never changed in the time that I have been
there.  Mary Lynne and all the teachers, you clearly know my family and
know my family's needs.  Our children are individuals with individual
needs, wants, dislikes, and routines.  My children have never been forced
to fit a behavior pattern that does not fit them (thank you for your
eternal patience Ms. Melissa).  That being said, I can clearly tell that
the preschooler has set rules and knows he is expected to follow the rules
(we still clean up every day before lunch even at home).  The rules,
discipline methods, and positive reinforcement mimic our own philosophy and
practices at home.  I love that both children have a warm and friendly
environment to grow up in while I am at work.

When I dropped Maya at Tiny Tots this morning, she could not contain her
excitement at seeing Ms. Kathy.  This morning Derek was excited to tell Ms.
Jasmine about his Christmas presents ("Ms. Jasmine loves my rhino, Mom.
That's her favorite!").  These remind me every morning that I have made the
right choice for my children.

I have been from Infants to Hummingbirds (and still going) and started back
over again with the second child.  It speaks volumes to me that my daughter
has had most of the same teachers as my oldest.  And all of these teachers
are as excited about their job today as they were almost 4 years ago when I
first met most of them.  You would never think there is a bad day.  Each
and every day we are greeted with smiles and sent home with more smiles.
It takes an amazing group of people to do this day in and day out and
continue to do it so well.

In addition to being amazing with my children, everyone is so caring for us
(the parents) as well.  I have vented, shared fun stories, and cried on
your shoulders (happy and sad cries).  I miss talking to Ms. Marilyn every
morning and Ms. Jen at night.  I know I am missing a lot of people that
touch our lives daily (sorry).  I can ramble all day about many more
wonderful people but I will leave it at this.  All the people at Blue Ash
Educational Building have become my second family.  Thank you for being
there for me and my kids every day.
